Renaissance Art Residency

Being in Chennai, we started where the city does — at the beach, playing sunlight against motion, then carried that energy inside for two long drawing sessions. One artist painted another's chest for a frame; a crown and a few found props tipped the shoots toward something Renaissance. We returned to the sand the next day to sketch, set words through Pictionary for the poems, and tried to catch the whole group in a single moving frame. A big mirror became a small movement session — and a model found her footing with light, and with the others in the room.
